Pictures of theĀ VeilĀ Nebula don’t tend to do justice to the breathtaking field of stars in which it resides, so I wanted to give equal prominence to the nebula and the stars in this true-colour picture. The scene fits perfectly in my 430mm focal length setup, with the two halves of theĀ VeilĀ looking like the opening and closing parentheses of the cosmos.
